  • Yes! All of our bookings are done here on our website. A non-refundable $30 deposit is required to hold your room. Cozy half rooms start at $30+ HST, and full Floor to Ceiling rooms start at $35+ HST. We can also book over the phone, but find online booking saves time, however please call us at 1-902-989-7297 if you have questions or issues. Please review the minimum vaccination requirements under The “About- Requirements” section here: https://www.halifaxkittyhotel.com/requirements

    Proof of vaccination is mandatory. We strive to keep our facility as safe as possible so for that reason we ask that proof of your cat’s updated vaccination be emailed.

    FeLV, rabies and FVRCP flea and tick are all required for cats that go outdoors.

  • We provide everything your cat would want and need, please email a copy of your pets updated vaccinations prior to arrival. We will provide wet cat food, should your cat have their favorite specific brand, please bring enough food for their stay and any bed, blankets or toys you want to bring. We find some cats are more comfortable with familiar smells and toys. We also have extra bedding and toys on hand including a cat tree, fresh dishes and litter boxes in each room.

  • We will be happy to welcome your cat and sorry to see them off between 7:30 AM and 9:30 PM everyday, by appointment. Check out time is 12 noon, late check outs will be charged at $15 per room. Please contact us if your travel arrangements require pick-up or drop off outside these hours and we may be able to accommodate your request on a case by case basis. When booking please select a precise time because all cats need to be back in their rooms when you are checking in or out. We plan our play times around your scheduled drop off and pick up times, to help us and avoid delays, please let us know if your scheduled drop off or pick up times change by calling or texting 1-902-989-7297.

  • No, we are purely a cat boarding facility, which helps keep your cats relaxed and comfortable.

  • Cozy half wall rooms are $30 + HST, Large Floor to Ceiling rooms are $35+ HST. Just like a human hotel we also need time to clean and change over rooms to welcome our next guests. Check out time is 12 noon, late check out times will be charged at $15 per room and accommodated on a best effort basis, please indicate your expected drop off and pickup time at time of booking. Please let us know as soon as possible if your drop off or pick up time needs to be adjusted at either email: info@halifaxkittyhotel.com or halifaxkittyhotel@gmail.com or by phone at 1-902-989-7297 to help us accommodate you and avoid delays.

  • We accept all major credit cards, debit cards and e-transfers. A card is required to reserve a room and a $30 non-refundable deposit is collected, and applied as a credit to your final invoice amount which will be collected in person at the end of your cat’s stay using a secure Square card terminal. For privacy and security we do not receive your card information during reservation, so the card used to reserve and will not automatically be charged at checkout, rather you may use a card of your choice at the end of your cat’s stay.

  • Absolutely! All of our rooms are spacious enough for 2 cats there is an additional charge of $20 per night, per additional cat.

  • We are a professional cat boarding facility which means we are fully insured, including general liability insurance and vet care coverage should it be required, all emergency vet bills will be included on your final invoice. Please contact us for more information.

  • No, unfortunately we do not provide injections such as insulin. We do administer many other medications in pill or liquid form. Please contact us to confirm we can accommodate you cat’s needs.

  • Please let us know as soon as possible. While we are boutique cat boarding facility we plan play time for our other cat guests around your scheduled appointment times. Please call us at 1-902-989-7297 if you need to change your planned times to avoid delays. For safety we do not allow cats from separate households to interact.

  • As a small business and boutique cat boarding facility our customers rely on past customers experience before entrusting us with their cats. We appreciate all feedback and Facebook or Google reviews. We differentiate ourselves from other cat boarding facilities, kennels or vets, in many ways: larger rooms, individual play time daily (multiple times per day), personalized care with email updates with pictures, and central, quiet, cat only location.
